A. Personal Data & User Generated Content

• Audio Recordings: We collect voice data via your microphone when you use the "Practice," "Sing," or "Perform" modes to score your pronunciation and rhythm.
• Media Files (Music): We access audio files on your device (MP3, M4A, etc.) only when you explicitly select them to generate a learning lesson. We do not access your entire library without your permission.
• Profile Images: If you choose to set a profile avatar, we access your camera or photo gallery.

B. Automatically Collected Data

• Device Information: Device model, OS version, unique device identifiers (Advertising ID), and IP address.
• Usage Data: Information about how you use the app, such as lessons created, practice scores, and interaction with features (via Firebase Analytics).
• Crash Logs: Data related to app crashes to help us fix bugs (via Firebase Crashlytics).

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data for the specific purposes below:

1. AI Lesson Generation: To upload your selected audio file to our secure processing server to separate vocals, generate lyrics, and create IPA (phonetics) for the lesson. This data is processed temporarily and is not stored permanently.
2. Pronunciation Scoring: To analyze your voice recording in real-time to provide feedback on pitch, rhythm, and pronunciation accuracy.
3. File Sharing: To enable peer-to-peer transfer of lessons or files between devices.
4. App Functionality: To save your learning progress, history, and profile settings.
5. Advertising: To display relevant ads (Banners, Interstitials, Rewarded) via Google AdMob and Meta Audience Network.
6. Analytics: To understand user behavior and improve app performance.

4. Permissions We Request

To function correctly, Sing Learn requires the following sensitive permissions. We request these permissions at runtime and you can revoke them at any time in your device settings.

• RECORD_AUDIO (Microphone): Required to listen to your singing for scoring and performance recording.
• READ_MEDIA_AUDIO / READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE: Required to access music files on your device so you can turn them into lessons.
• CAMERA: Required if you wish to take a photo for your user profile avatar.
• FOREGROUND_SERVICE: Used to keep the music playing and the lesson generation process running even if you minimize the app.

5. Third-Party Services and SDKs

We use third-party services that may collect information used to identify you. Please refer to their privacy policies:

6. Data Retention and Deletion

• Local Data: Lessons, recordings, and progress are stored locally on your device. You can delete them at any time within the app.
• Server Processing: Audio files uploaded for AI generation are processed immediately and deleted from our servers shortly after the lesson is created. We do not retain your personal music files.
• User Request: If you wish to request the deletion of any data associated with your device ID, please contact us at the email provided below.

7. Children’s Privacy

These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

8. Security

We value your trust in providing us your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security. All communication between the app and our AI servers is encrypted via HTTPS.
